Can't connect to Glastopf server
Added by m r almost 2 years ago
Testing out this web honeypot and it seems awesome! But I can't get mine to work...
Have everything installed and when I run the web server there are any errors. It loads all the modules and everything appears as if its running correctly and I see the last line : "Starting Glastopf server, use <Ctrl-c> to stop."
But when I try to actually connect via a web browser nothing happens. netstat/tenlet also confirm that nothing is listening on any of the ports that I specify in the glastopf.cfg file. The log file doesn't report anything strange either, just that the server started. Also, I've made sure that my apache2 server is stopped before I start glastopf. Anyone have any ideas?

Solved the problem:
I could telnet from my host machine to the local address (localhost/127.0.01) but no via the host actual IP. Apparently you must specify the actual IP address of the host in the config file.
Are there plans on adding support for localhost/127.0.01 so that the machine can accept any connections to it (if, for instance, I wanted to allocate more than one IP address to the machine)?
